Bae Suzy to release her self-composed digital single 'Cape' on Oct. 6
Singer-turned-actor Bae Suzy will release her self-composed digital single “Cape” on Oct. 6, according to her agency Management Soop on Monday.
This is the singer’s first music since her digital single “Satellite,” which was released in February.
The upcoming single is a “folk song with a dreamy, sentimental melody,” according to the agency. The album image for “Cape,” a picture taken by Suzy while she was traveling, was also revealed the same day.
Bae debuted in 2010 as a member of girl group Miss A, one of the notable second-generation groups in K-pop. She launched her acting career in 2011 through the KBS series “Dream High” and has had a prolific filmography. Though she has focused more on acting in recent years, she has been trying different music styles through her solo digital singles.
“Cape” will be available on music streaming websites from Oct. 6 at 6 p.m.
