Billboard music charts to reflect FLO streaming data
Music streaming made on FLO will count on three of Billboard’s music charts, the Korean music streaming service announced on Thursday.
Dreamus Company, the managing company behind the streaming service, had signed a partnership with Luminate Data to provide FLO streaming data starting in May.
Luminate Data is the company responsible for providing music-related statistics to Billboard.
Streaming statistics from FLO will be reflected in Billboard’s South Korea Songs chart, Billboard Global 200 Chart and Billboard Global 200 Excl. US — which does not include the two main Billboard charts: Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200.
The company said the streaming data will be reflected in the near future, without giving an exact date.
FLO is a Korean music streaming service that started its service in 2015. It is operated by Dreamus, a subsidiary of SK.
