Kim Seon-ho, Kim Ji-soo named outstanding actor, actress at Seoul International Drama Awards
Kim Seon-ho and Kim Ji-soo were named outstanding actor and actress in the category of Korean drama series at the Seoul International Drama Awards 2022.
The outcomes of the two awards are based solely on votes from fans of Korean content, who cast their ballots online over a one-month period through the voting app Idol Champ.
Kim Seon-ho won the award for his performance in “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” (2021) on tvN, garnering 53.39 percent of the total poll while Blackpink’s Jisoo won for her performance in Snowdrop (2021-2022) with 41.58 percent of the total votes.
Singer and actor Kang Daniel took home Outstanding K-pop Idol for his performance in Disney+’s “Rookie Cops (2022), taking 45 percent of the total votes in the category.
Trot singer Lim Young-woong won the Outstanding OST (Official Soundtrack) award with his song “Love Always Run Away,” which was featured in the KBS drama series “Young Lady and Gentleman” (2021). He garnered 59.53 percent of the votes.
The Seoul International Drama Awards is an annual award ceremony that started in 2006.
This year’s award ceremony will air live on KBS 2TV on Sept. 22.
