Actor Jung Woo-sung returns to small screen in romantic series
Actor Jung Woo-sung will return to the small screen with a new romance series, “Tell Me that You Love Me” on Nov. 27.
This marks Jung's first romance genre in 11 years, after his last romantic comedy “Padam Padam” (2011-2012).
The series will co-star Shin Hyun-been, who has starred in “Hospital Playlist” (2020-2021) and “Reflection of You” (2021).
“Tell Me that You Love Me” is based on the eponymous Japanese TV series aired in 1995. The series follows the romance between him and actor Jung Mo-eun, portrayed by Shin.
The series will be jointly produced by “Love in the Moonlight” (2016) screenwriter Kim Min-jung and “Our Beloved Summer” (2021-2022) director Kim Yoon-jin,
Jung is known for works such as such as “A Moment to Remember” (2004), “Athena: Godess of War” (2010), “Cold Eyes” (2013) and “Asura” (2016). He is known for his active engagement in UNHCR as a National Goodwill Ambassador.
New episodes of “Tell Me that You Love Me” will be released every Monday and Tuesday on Disney+.
