ARTMS's Heejin to release solo album 'K' on Oct. 31
ARTMS's Heejin will drop a solo album "K" on Oct. 31, her agency Modhaus said Friday.
It will be Heejin's first solo album since she joined Modhaus and its girl group project ARTMS.
Heejin released her first solo single "HeeJin" back in 2016 before the girl group's full debut.
The first teaser image released Friday showed Heejin posing in front of a camera wearing hanbok, or traditional Korean dress. Modhaus said more teasers will be released before the album's release.
ARTMS, formed in April, has former Loona members Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, Choerry and Haseul, who joined the newborn agency after having had its exclusive contract with LOONA's agency, BlockBerry Creative, suspended by a court the same year.
While ARTMS did not release any album as a group, its subunit Odd Eye Circle — first formed during the Loona era — with members Kim Lip, Jinsoul and Cheorry, rebooted with its EP "Version Up" in July, with video content released on the group's YouTube channel.
Haseul, too, will hold her first concert "Music Studio 81.8Hz" at the Shinhan pLay Square in Mapo District, western Seoul, for three days in October, where she is set to sing an unreleased track and have ARTMS members as guest performers.
