BTS's Jin to release his first solo album 'Happy' on Nov. 15
Jin of boy band BTS will release his first solo album "Happy" on Nov. 15, his agency BigHit Music said Tuesday.
"'Happy' is an album that carries the message of finding happiness together. Jin will show his candid thoughts about happiness and deliver his warm feelings toward ARMY," the agency said in a press release, referring to the band's dedicated fandom by its name ARMY.
The album will contain six songs based on rock band sounds, the agency said.
Jin released his first solo single "The Astronaut" in 2022 prior to beginning his mandatory military duty in December that year.
He was discharged in June this year and has since participated in TV shows, the 2024 Paris Olympics torch relay and more.
"Jin is expected to show how much he has grown as a solo vocalist with the new album," the agency said.
Jin will be joined by the second member of BTS to finish his mandatory military duty, J-Hope, on Thursday. There will not be an official event on the day.
