Han So-hee to make silver screen debut in independent film 'Heavy Snow' this year
Actor Han So-hee will make her silver screen debut in the independent film “Heavy Snow,” set for release in Korean theaters during the second half of this year.
“Heavy Snow” is the coming-of-age story of a relationship between two women that crosses the boundaries of friendship and romance, the film’s distributor, Pancinema, said Tuesday. Han stars as K-pop idol Seol, while actor Han Hae-in plays Su-an, an arts high school student training to become an actor.
The film premiered at the Jeonju International Film Festival last year in the Korean Competition category. It is the second feature-length film directed by Yun Su-ik.
Han debuted in 2017 with a supporting role in SBS drama “Into the World Again.” She recently starred in the Netflix original series “Gyeongseong Creature” (2023-24), the second season of which is scheduled for release this year.
“Heavy Snow” was produced in 2019, two years after Han debuted as an actor and one year before Han’s breakthrough drama series “The World of the Married” aired on JTBC in 2020.
