Hanteo Global chooses NMIXX as featured artist for Olive Young collaboration
Hanteo Global has chosen girl group NMIXX as its featured artist for its collaboration with cosmetic brand Olive Young to sell physical copies of K-pop albums at the brand's branch in Myeong-dong in Jung District, central Seoul, from Friday to Sept. 5.
“We will launch a ‘K-pop Exclusive Corner’ in collaboration with Olive Young’s Myeong-dong station branch,” Hanteo Global, operator of market tracker Hanteo Chart, said Friday. “Girl group NMIXX has been selected as our representative artist, and various events will be held as well.”
The “K-pop Exclusive Corner” will display and sell physical copies of the girl group’s albums as well as ones by other K-pop acts. This is the first time that the cosmetic brand will sell physical copies offline. It had been previously selling K-pop albums in its online store and will continue to do so.
Hanteo Global and Olive Young will also play videos of NMIXX in the branch's LED display and hand out limited edition photo cards through events, according to the market tracker operator.
“Through this launch, we aspire to become a leader in K-culture trends not just in K-pop, but also in beauty, fashion and health," Kim Sang-hyun, Head of Strategic Planning at Hanteo Global, said Friday.
NMIXX released its third EP “Fe3O4: Stick Out” on Monday, seven months after the girl group’s most recent EP “Fe3O4: Break." "Stick Out" is the second installment of the girl group’s ongoing “Fe3O4” series.
The girl group will hold its second fan concert titled “NMIXX Change Up: Mixx Lab” at Jangchung Arena in Jung District, central Seoul, from Oct. 4 to 6.
