NMIXX to fuse country with hip-hop in third EP

Still from the teaser for girl group NMIXX's upcoming EP, “Fe3O4: Stick Out” [JYP ENTERTAINMENT]

NMIXX will release its third EP, “Fe3O4: Stick Out,” on Monday, the girl group's agency, JYP Entertainment, said Wednesday.

“Fe3O4: Stick Out” comes seven months after the girl group’s most recent EP, “Fe3O4: Break,” which was released on Jan. 15.

The EP will include six songs: lead track “See that?,” “Sickuhh” featuring rapper Kid Milli, “Red light sign, but we go,” “Beat Beat,” “Moving On” and “Love Is Lonely.”

“See that?” fuses country music with old school hip-hop, JYP Entertainment said.

NMIXX will open a pop-up store to celebrate the release of “Fe3O4: Stick Out” at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeongdeungpo District, western Seoul, on Aug. 24. The girl group will also hold a concert called “NMIXX Change Up: Mixx Lab” at Jangchung Arena in Jung District, central Seoul, in October.

NMIXX debuted in February 2022 under JYP Entertainment. It has six members: Haewon, Lily, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo and Kyujin. Former member Jinni, who was part of the original debut lineup, left the group on Dec. 9, 2022, citing personal reasons.

The group is known for “Dice” (2022) and “Love Me Like This.” It dropped its first EP, “expérgo,” last March.
