Riize to have 'Lucky' Japanese debut on Sept. 5
Boy band Riize will makes its Japanese debut with new single “Lucky” on Sept. 5, according to the boy band’s agency SM Entertainment.
“Lucky” will be prereleased on streaming platforms on Monday and the physical release will be in tandem with the debut, said SM Entertainment on Tuesday.
More information on the single will be revealed at a later date.
Riize kicked off its global fan concert tour “Riizing Day” on May 4 in Seoul. The Japanese leg of the tour will start on July 30 in Kanagawa Prefecture and will continue until Aug. 27. The boy band will hold a total of 15 performances across eight more prefectures: Osaka, Miyagi, Gunma, Okayama, Hiroshima, Kumamoto, Fukuoka and Aichi.
Riize is also scheduled to perform at Japan's music festival, Summer Sonic 2024, on Aug. 17 in Tokyo and Aug. 18 in Osaka.
Riize debuted on Sept. 4 last year with its first single “Get a Guitar.” It has since released singles “Talk Saxy” (2023) and “Love 119” (2023). The band consists of members Shotaro, Sungchan, Eunseok, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee and Anton.
