Singer Kim Jae-joong dropped his third full-length album “Born Gene” on Tuesday, his agency C-Jes Entertainment announced the same day.

This is the singer’s first music in two years, as well as his first full-length album in six years since “NO.X” (2016).

“Born Gene” has nine tracks including the lead track “Nobody Like You.”

“It’s going to be a type of sound that makes everyone excited like they’re at a festival, the moment they first hear the song,” Kim said.

Kim also participated in writing the lyrics for tracks “Locking Love” and “Broken Mirror.”

Following the album’s release, Kim will embark on a tour of Asia to meet international fans. His Asia tour will include stops in Seoul, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok from Sept. 17 to Oct. 8.

Kim debuted in 2003 as a member of boy band TVXQ. After he left TVXQ with members Kim Jun-su and Park Yoo-chun, the three formed boy band JYJ. Kim launched his solo music career in 2013 with the EP “I.”

Kim is also active as an actor, known for his roles in the SBS series “Protect the Boss" (2011), MBC’s “Dr. Jin” (2012) and KBS’s "Manhole" (2017).
