Singer Bibi drew on 'horrible experience' for latest song 'Bibi Vengeance'
Singer Bibi's latest song "Bibi Vengeance" was based on a "horrible experience" she had, the singer said Friday.
During a press conference to promote her first full-length album "Lowlife Princess: Noir" at the CGV Cheongdam Cinecity in southern Seoul, Bibi provided some behind-the-scenes stories about the lead track.
“Lowlife Princess: Noir” dropped Friday.
"I was immersed in writing the lyrics to 'Bibi Vengeance' after I went through a horrible experience," Bibi said. "My thoughts then were that I could forgive once, but never twice."
On what the "horrible experience" was, she explained, "It was a relationship problem, and if I report it, someone will have to go to jail.
"Some people are probably filled with hatred, but I hope that you can relieve those feelings through this song."
For “Lowlife Princess: Noir,” Bibi has written, composed as well as produced all 12 tracks.
Three of them, “Animal Farm,” “Sweet Sorrow of Mother” and “Motospeed 24,” were pre-released September.
Bibi debuted as a singer in 2019 with the song “Butterfly,” the lead track of her first album “The Manual For People Who Want to Love.”
