WJSN members Exy and Seola suffer minor injuries after car accident
K-pop girl group WJSN members Exy and Seola were in a car accident on their way to an appearance in a rural city, their label Starship Entertainment announced Wednesday. They were the only two from the 13-member girl group in the car at the time of the accident.
“The two members and their manager were not seriously injured but they visited an emergency room at a nearby hospital to be properly examined,” the label said in a statement posted on WJSN’s online fan cafe. “Doctors said both Exy and Seola have no broken bones but they should receive treatment to ease muscle pains.”
The label added that it will make sure the members fully recover and don’t suffer from any kind of aftereffects due to the accident.
The girl group, also known as Cosmic Girls, has been busy with back-to-back schedules since winning first place on Mnet’s competition show “Queendom 2,” which aired between March and June.
The group dropped its latest EP “Sequence” in July, which features four tracks: “Last Sequence,” “Done,” “Aura” and “Stronger.”
WJSN debuted in 2016 with the EP "Would You Like?" and has released hits such as "I Wish" (2017) and "As You Wish" (2019). The 13 members of the girl group are EXY, Seola, Xuan Yi, Bona, Soobin, Luda, Dawon, Eunseo, Cheng Xiao, Mei Qi, Yeoreum, Dayoung and Yeonjung.
