Ateez to release fifth Japanese single on July 29
Boy band Ateez is scheduled to release its fifth Japanese single on July 29, according to its agency on Thursday.
The single comes less than a year after the band's full-length Japanese album, "Ashes to Light" (2025).
The latest full-length Japanese album came four and a half years after its last full-length Japanese album, "Into the A to Z" (2021). The new album set a record for first-week sales for the band's Japanese albums, according to KQ Entertainment.
The band recently announced a three-day back-to-back fan meet-and-greet scheduled from Aug. 4 to 6 in Yokohama.
The band debuted in October 2018 under KQ Entertainment with its first EP, "Treasure EP.1: All to Zero" (2018). The octet consists of Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung and Jongho.
The band renewed its contract for another seven years together in July last year. The band is known for hits such as "Answer" (2020), "Deja Vu" (2021) and "Wonderland" (2019).
