Boy band Dragon Pony to make Japan debut with EP 'Run to Run'

Boy band Dragon Pony will make its debut in Japan with its first EP release in the country, titled “Run to Run,” on June 10, according to a press release on Saturday.

The new album will feature five tracks: “Run to Win,” “Stand Together,” “One Light, One Time,” “Break the Chain” and “Look Back.”


Presales of the forthcoming EP began on local music streaming platforms on Friday.

A week after its debut in Japan, the quartet will hold a live performance in Tokyo on June 17, followed by another in Osaka on June 21. The band's activities in Japan will take place in cooperation with Warner Music Japan.

Dragon Pony, consisting of lead vocalist Ahn Tae-gyu, bassist Pyun Sung-hyun, guitarist Kwon Se-hyuk and drummer Ko Gang-hun, is a self-produced band that debuted in September 2024 with its first EP, “Pop Up,” under Kakao Entertainment-backed Antenna.

The group recently released its third EP, “Run Run Run,” on March 10.
