Boy band Stray Kids surpassed 40 million cumulative sales across its 28 albums released in Korea and Japan, according to JYP Entertainment on Tuesday.

The milestone comes more than a year after the band surpassed 30 million cumulative albums sold in January 2025.

Its 19 domestic albums from its predebut album “Mixtape” (2018) to its second mixtape “Do It” (2025), have sold 35.7 million copies, according to the agency.

Its nine Japanese albums, spanning its first compilation album “SKZ2020” (2020) to its third Japanese EP “Hollow” (2025), have reportedly accumulated 4.5 million sales.

Stray Kids debuted on March 25, 2018. Its members are Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N. The band is best known for songs such as “God’s Menu” (2020), “S-Class” (2023) and “Lose My Breath” (2024).

The octet recently scored four wins, including album of the year, at the Japan Gold Disc Awards that same month.

Stray Kids is scheduled to headline the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York on June 6 and the Brazilian rock festival Rock in Rio, held in Rio de Janeiro on Sept. 11.

Straycity, a new music festival headlined by the band, is also scheduled to take place in three Latin American cities in September.
