BTS's Jin, actor Ji Ye-eun to be fixed guests on Netflix variety show 'Kian's Bizarre B&B'
BTS’s Jin and actor Ji Ye-eun will appear in Netflix’s upcoming variety show “Kian’s Bizarre B&B,” the global streaming company announced Wednesday.
“Kian’s Bizarre B&B” is scheduled to be released next year as a Netflix original entertainment show.
Produced by Jung Hyo-min, the show will follow webtoonist Kian84’s journey in operating a guesthouse on Ulleung Island, which is 120 kilometers (75 miles) off the east coast of the Korean Peninsula, for young people with various stories.
Jin and the actor Ji will be fixed guests on the show appearing as employees of the guesthouse, according to Netflix.
“The show will deliver both laughter and a special sense of connection [to viewers] through the trio and guests’ unique blend of healing and chaotic moments during their stay,” Netflix Korea said in a press release.
This will be BTS's Jin's first regular spot on an entertainment show as a soloist.
Kian84 is known for his webtoon "Fashion King" (2011-13), which was also adapted into a film under the same name in 2014. The webtoonist is also widely known for his TV appearances, such as MBC's "I Live Alone" (2013-) and "Adventure by Accident" (2022-).
Actor Ji debuted in 2017 through a web-based drama, but started to earn public recognition through Coupang Play's "SNL Korea" in 2023. The actor recently appeared in various TV shows, including SBS's "Running Man" (2010-).
