Dean to return to music scene with new single on Saturday

R&B singer Dean will drop a new single on Saturday, making a comeback after four and a half years, his agency Universal Music Korea said Monday.

The R&B singer's last release was his U.S. single "Howlin' 404" on May 31, 2019.

T.Y, a producer who has worked with artists from Dean's label you.will.knovv, such as Rad Museum and Tabber, and Indonesian electronica duo Galdive will participate in the new single, his agency added.

Details about the single, such as the title, will come soon, according to the agency.

Dean debuted in 2015 with his single "I'm Not Sorry." He is known for "D (half moon)" (2016), "21" (2016) and "Instagram" (2017).

The singer ceased his solo activities after his U.S. single release, making fans wonder whether he would come back to the music scene. He also had been inactive on social media until he uploaded a video of him covering a Shiloh Dynasty song.
