TAG, a former member of boy band Golden Child, is scheduled to make a comeback under the new name Universe, PR firm W& announced Wednesday.

The singer uploaded teaser posters hinting at his rebrand and return on his official social media Tuesday.


The singer debuted as a member of the boy band Golden Child in August 2017 under Woolim Entertainment. He left the team in August 2024 after his exclusive contract with the agency had ended.

His first self-written track, "Oasis" (2021), was featured on Golden Child's second full-length album, "Ddara" (2021).

The singer's new single, with the title yet to be announced, is scheduled for release on May 29 at 6 p.m. on music streaming platforms.

The singer debuted in 2017 with Golden Child's first EP, "Gol-Cha!" and is known for songs such as "Wannabe" (2019) and "ONE (Lucid Dream)" (2020).
