Girl group Billlie to release first full-length album next month

Girl group Billlie [MYSTIC STORY]

Girl group Billlie will release its first full-length album early next month, its agency Mystic Story said on Monday.

Titled “the collective soul and unconscious: chapter two,” the album is expected to be a musical continuation of the group's second EP, “the collective soul and unconscious: chapter one” (2022), according to a press release distributed on Monday.

However, the release date has not been disclosed.

The album will showcase Billlie's musical depth and the narrative that the group has built so far.

The septet, consisting of five Korean members and two Japanese members, debuted in 2021.

The group's second EP featured the hit song “GingaMingaYo (the strange world),” which was named one of the 15 best K-pop songs of 2022 by the British music magazine New Musical Express.

Billlie's previous albums were also listed on iTunes K-pop album charts in foreign countries, including Australia and Turkey. In January, the group's prerelease single “cloud palace ~ false awakening” entered the domestic streaming platform Melon's Top 100 chart.
