Han So-hee's agency denied allegations that the actor left malicious comments on actor and former K-pop idol Hyeri's social media with a secondary account.

9ATO Entertainment clarified that "the social media account at the center of media attention is not Han's account" in a statement released Wednesday.

Han became a controversial figure in March when she publicly announced her relationship with actor Ryu Jun-yeol, who had recently broken off a seven-year relationship with Hyeri.

An account using the handle "catsaretheavengers" began posting derogatory comments on Hyeri's account shortly thereafter. The fact that the account had been created in March led netizens to suspect that Han was behind it.

The account's profile picture, featuring a photo of Saturn, also matched one that Han had posted to Instagram in July. Actress Jun Jong-seo, Han's friend, further added to suspicions when she followed the account.

The couple broke up two weeks after making their relationship public, and have individually been receiving criticism since then.

Han debuted as an actor in 2017 with a supporting role in SBS drama “Into the World Again.” She recently starred in the second season of the Netflix original series “Gyeongseong Creature” (2023-24).
