K-pop idols sit down for Korea's college entrance exam
Many Korean students in their final year of high school take the CSAT, and K-pop idols are no exception.
In this year’s College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), Korea’s standardized high school test, many girl group and boy band members born in 2005 have officially announced that they will take the test, such as Weeekly’s Zoa, tripleS’s Yubin and Jiwoo, Kep1er’s Kang Yeseo, Rocket Punch’s Dahyun, CSR’s Sua, EPEX’s Yewang and Jeff, LUN8’s Ji Eunho and many more.
“Jiwoo and I will take the CSAT. Let’s all do well together!” said tripleS’s Yubiin in a video released Wednesday.
“I can’t say I’m perfectly prepared [for CSAT], but I will try my best so I don’t regret it in the future,” said Weeekly’s Zoa.
Many idols have decided not to take the CSAT: Siyoon from Billie and Jiwoo from NMIXX have opted to instead focus on their group activities, and Kiss of Life’s Haneul, ZeroBaseOne’s Park Gun-wook, Treasure’s So Jung-hwan won't be taking this year’s CSAT, either.
