Park Bom, Heize, Taeyeon, Narsha each to drop new music before year's end
K-pop female solo singers are gearing up make their comebacks before the end of the year.
Singer Park Bom is set to release her new single “I” on Nov. 22, her first new music in a year and eight months since her last release “My Reflection,” which was the soundtrack for the webtoon "Fight for My Way" in 2022.
Park released her new music video through her agency D-Nation’s official YouTube channel Wednesday.
Park debuted as a member of girl group 2NE1 in 2009. As a solo artist, she released tracks "You and I" (2009) and "Don't Cry" (2011), which had topped local music charts at the time. She was awarded Best Digital Single at the Mnet Asian Music Awards in 2010.
Heize is gearing up to release her new album in December, according to her agency P Nation.
Details of the album, such as the number of tracks or the title, have not been announced yet.
Heize’s new album release comes seven months after her last EP "VingleVingle" in April.
Heize debuted in 2014 with her single "After I've Wandered a Bit" and appeared on the second season of "Upretty Rapstar," a rap competition show, in 2015. Heize is known for her hits "And July" (2016), "Don't Know You" (2017) and "You, Clouds, Rain" (2017).
Taeyeon is set to release her new EP “To. X” on Nov. 27. “To. X” is composed of six tracks, including the title track of the same name.
Her new EP comes over a year and a half since her previous full-length album “INVU” in February 2022.
Taeyeon concluded her Asia tour in August, which spanned a total of eight regions with 12 concerts.
Taeyeon debuted as a member of the girl group Girl’s Generation in 2007. She launched her solo career with her EP “I” in 2015, securing second place on Gaon Music Chart. She has topped the chart with her EPs “Why” (2016) and “My Voice” (2017).
Singer Narsha is will be dropping her new single “Blush” on Nov. 18.
“Blush” follows her last single "Bbi Ri Bba Bba," which was released in 2010.
Narsha is a Korean female solo artist. She debuted as a member of girl group Brown Eyed Girls in 2006 and is now building her career as both a musician and actor.
“Considerable time has passed since the release of my first solo single,” Narsha said in a press release. “This period was filled with much contemplation. I'm diligently working on yet another album to release next year, and I hope my fans who have drifted away will return.”
Her new single “Blush” is produced by Lee Hyeon-do of Deux, an early 1990s Korean K-pop duo.
