Red Velvet to release fan song 'Sweet Dreams' for 10th anniversary
Girl group Red Velvet will release fan song “Sweet Dreams” on Thursday to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
“Sweet Dreams” is a midtempo song with lighthearted melodies and harps, Red Velvet’s agency SM Entertainment said Friday. The song will be included in a new version of the girl group’s recent album “Cosmic," which was released on June 24.
The new version of "Cosmic" will be released the same day as "Sweet Dreams."
Red Velvet will also kick off its Asia concert tour “HAPPINESS: My Dear, ReVe1uv” with three concerts on Aug. 2 to 4 at SK Handball Gymnasium in Songpa District, southern Seoul.
The girl group will then perform in Bangkok on Aug. 17 and 18; Jakarta, Indonesia on Sept. 7; Manila on Sept. 14; and Macau on Sept. 28.
Red Velvet debuted on Aug. 1, 2014 under SM Entertainment with four members and welcomed member Yeri in 2015 to make the five-member group it has now with Irene, Wendy, Seulgi, Joy and Yeri. The girl group is known for its hit songs such as "Red Flavor" (2017), "Psycho" (2019) and "Feel My Rhythm" (2022).
