Singer Kim Jae-hwan thanks fans for their love on the 7th anniversary of his solo debut
Singer Kim Jae-hwan, a member of the now disbanded project boy band Wanna One, thanked his fans for the love that they have given him on the seventh anniversary of his solo debut on Wednesday.
“I can’t believe that it has been seven years with WIN:D,” Kim wrote in a handwritten letter, according to his agency WakeOne. WIN: D is the name of his fan club.
“I am grateful that [my fans] love my voice,” Kim said. “Let’s stay together [until the] 700th anniversary. I love you, I love you and I love you.”
Kim debuted as the main vocalist of Wanna One in 2017 after being selected as a finalist on the second season of Mnet’s hit audition program “Produce 101" (2016-19). The group disbanded in 2019, but it recently reunited for the 10th anniversary of its debut.
Kim then debuted as a solo artist with the EP “Another” in May 2019. He has released six EPs and various singles so far.
Kim is set to perform at the “2026 Korea Memorial Festa,” which will take place in western Seoul on June 6, Korea’s Memorial Day.
