Singer Kwon Eun-bi departs from Woollim Entertainment after 8 years

Singer Kwon Eun-bi will not renew her contract with Woollim Entertainment, the agency said on Tuesday.

Kwon was signed to Woollim for eight years.


“We thank Kwon for her continuous efforts and for showcasing a wide range of talents over the years,” Woollim said in a press release. “We also wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors.”

The agency also released a handwritten letter from Kwon, in which she thanks her former staff members at Woollim.

“Whatever path lies ahead, I’ll be sure to move forward step by step, remembering what I’ve learned and the overwhelming support I’ve received,” she wrote.

She did not disclose her new agency.

Kwon debuted as a singer in 2014 and was later active as a member of the project girl group IZ*ONE from 2018 to 2021. The group was formed through the Mnet competition show “Produce 48” (2018) and has released songs such as “La Vie en Rose” (2018), “Fiesta” (2020) and “Panorama” (2020).

Kwon is best known for her performances at the annual Waterbomb music festival.
