Lisa of girl group Blackpink will release her solo single, "Rockstar," on June 28 in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment.

"Rockstar" marks her first solo music release in three years since "Lalisa" (2021) and her first new music since she founded her own label, Lloud, last February to pursue her solo career. She is still signed with YG Entertainment for her group activities as part of Blackpink.

Lloud signed a partnership deal with U.S. record label RCA Records under Sony Music Entertainment for her global solo career in April.

"Having made numerous achievements with her album to become a global pop artist, Lisa's 'Rockstar' is expected to garner listeners' attention, especially with the backing of RCA Records," Lloud said in a press release.

Lisa is also set to make her acting debut with a role in the third season of HBO’s “The White Lotus." The premiere date of the show has not been set yet.

Lisa was the third Blackpink member to announce her label following bandmates Jennie and Jisoo, who both founded individual management labels with members of their family.

The remaining member, Rosé, recently signed a management contract with The Black Label, joining fellow artists Jeon Somi, Taeyang of Big Bang, Zion.T and more.
