NCT Wish to release first EP 'Steady' on Tuesday
Boy band NCT Wish will release its first EP, "Steady,” on Tuesday, said its agency SM Entertainment.
This EP marks the band's first new music in two months since its single "Songbird" in July.
The EP will feature seven tracks , including the title song "Steady” along with "Dunk Shot," "3 Minutes," "On & On," "Supercute," "Skate" and the Korean version of "Hands Up.”
Composed by Kenzie, the title track "Steady" is a dance song blending house, U.K. garage and Jersey Club beats. It conveys the group’s desire to maintain its miraculous friendship forever in a candid and upbeat manner.
The EP has recorded 800,000 preorders as of Monday, breaking the previous record of 630,000 set by its single “Songbird.”
NCT Wish is NCT’s final subgroup. The band debuted with its first single, “Wish,” which was released digitally in both Japan and Korea on Feb. 28. The band consists of four Japanese members — Riku, Yushi, Ryo and Sakuya — and two Korean members, Sion and Jaehee.
