NCT Wish to release new single 'Songbird' with Japanese and Korean versions

Boy band NCT Wish [SM ENTERTAINMENT]

Boy band NCT Wish will release its single "Songbird" in Japan on June 24 and the Korean version on July 1, its agency SM Entertainment said Monday.

The two-track single, including the title track "Songbird" and B-side track "Tears Are Falling," will be released first in Japan and then in Korea five days later. It's the band's first new music since its debut single "Wish" was unveiled last March.

"Songbird" will once again be produced by singer BoA, who oversaw the debut process of NCT Wish as well as the band's debut single.

"The new single will show the upgraded team color, music and performance of NCT Wish," SM Entertainment said in a press release.

NCT Wish is NCT’s final subgroup. The band debuted with its first single, “Wish,” which was released digitally in both Japan and Korea on Feb. 28. The band consists of four Japanese members — Riku, Yushi, Ryo and Sakuya — and two Korean members, Sion and Jaehee.

The band recently kicked off its first meet and greet tour with four events at Myunghwa Live Hall in Yeongdeungpo District, western Seoul, on May 25 and 26.
