BTS visited the Mexican presidential palace and greeted fans on Wednesday before its concert in Mexico City the following day.
The band members, alongside Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, stood at the balcony of the National Palace and greeted fans.
Mexican President Sheinbaum delivered the news of BTS's arrival at the palace herself during her morning news conference on Wednesday. Fans then flocked to the area, with some bursting into tears when they saw their favorite stars on the terrace.
BTS is set to perform at Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday as part of its “Arirang” world tour, which kicked off in Goyang, Gyeonggi, last month.
