DAY6 member Sungjin to release solo album '30' next month

K-pop rock band DAY6’s guitarist Sungjin will make his solo debut with his first full-length album in November, according to the band’s agency JYP Entertainment.

The agency revealed a promotional image of Sungjin's first solo album "30" on its social media accounts. The album will be released on Nov. 5 at 6 p.m.


Sungjin, who debuted with DAY6 in 2015, has showcased his songwriting talents by contributing to several of the band's hit songs, including "Melt Down," "Happy," "Welcome to the Show," “Time of Our Life” (2019) and “Congratulations” (2015).

In light of the release of his first solo album, Sungjin will hold his first solo concert from Nov. 8 to 10 at Kwangwoon University in Seoul, according to his agency. Further details about the concert can be found on the agency's social media accounts.

Meanwhile, DAY6 is currently on its third world tour, "Forever Young." The tour kicked off in Incheon on Sept. 20 and has already included stops in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Bali and Surabaya, Indonesia. Upcoming concerts are scheduled for Jakarta, Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Osaka, Tokyo and Manila through February next year.
